The city of Greeley is named for the famous newspaper editor, Horace Greeley who famously gave the advice, "Go west, young man!" What was once an agricultural community is now the twelfth largest city in Colorado with a population of a little over 100,000. It is home to the University of Northern Colorado.
Greeley is a diverse community and quite proud of its pioneer heritage. Centennial Village is a living museum assembled of historic buildings. Each summer the city plays host to the Greeley Stampede, one of the oldest, continuous rodeos in the nation.
For buyers looking for affordability, Greeley has some of the best prices on the Northern Front Range.
